And then there was heat!!!

We officially have heat in the house. YEAH!! With all the sheetrock up, the house does stay warm. Damon was able to heat the house enough to paint the trim for outside. Now the trim is officially up and more siding can be put up!! I love the color Damon used for the trim. It adds alot. The taper will be starting next week. WOW~~ things are really starting to come together. Now if we could just sell our current house, things would be GREAT. We got a few calls on the house this week but no one that wanted to see it. We may end up with a realtor :<< Only time will tell.

This week was very productive. The sheetrocking is almost complete just a few small areas left. As you can see from the pictures, it is starting to all come together. The plumber finally showed up today to finish his final projects. The heating man has been there off and on. We can have heat after the plumber hooks up the gas line today!! Damon will be talking with tapers tomorrow. They may even start taping this week. We have been having discussion about the flooring and that too may be ordered this week. Day by day we get closer to moving in. We have listed our current house and have shown it 3 times already; however no real prospects yet. Hopefully we can sell it sooooon!! We will not be completing the family room or back deck until we sell the house. Keep your fingers crossed for us!!!

New Year

Well 2009 has began and progress is happening at Primo however slow!! I think contractors are having a hard time getting back into the swing of things. We have waited all week for the heater guy, insulation guy and plumber to show up. Atlas on Friday, they all showed up:>> I am telling you I don't get the contracting world. However I am just glad they are there!!!!! Damon has been starting to put the siding on the house and it looks great!! The weather has finally warmed up here and the snow is melting. Now we have a huge mud pit around our house. NOT fun to work in. We have also listed our current house to sale. Please keep your fingers crossed for us. It may be difficult with the economy so bad. We have already shown it once so hopefully that is a good sign. I will keep you posted
